It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the record chasers, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

That it took until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the opportunity.

Ultimately, the result of Australia giving up 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy receiving a platform to create her newest gem.

Some will argue the reasoning behind final game tension. Others can counter with the challenge that comes when facing a record target and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was considerably tougher to see coming.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it was a disappointing period because it seemed I lacked timing whatsoever," said Healy.

Healy's competitive nature has continuously been her great strength - and an irreplaceable characteristic in succeeding famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we believe we can do it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship should hear.

During the last week a belief they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this triumph following success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.

During that phase they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.
